My Brother's Graduation

April 16 is my brother's graduation. Finally, after four years in college, he is now graduating with the BS IT degree. Though part of the ordinary, average students, I could never be so proud of him. I know he strived hard to finish his studies.

I am writing this because I was touched about what he said to me.. I was not supposed to attend his graduation. I did not file a leave of absence and I've no plans of going home to the province for it. What made me re-consider? It's what he said. Well, he just said that his graduation will not be as meaningful as it could be if i were home with them.

Whoa! Was I dreaming or did I really hear him say that? Imagine someone who is not expressive at all about how he feels just said that?! OMG! LOL

No seriously, I was deeply touched. I never thought he ever appreciated my funding and support on his studies and me as his older sister. He told me that he would be happier I could attend his graduation rights.. Oh my! Who could resists..? Right then and there, I filled out an application form for a two days leave.. I'm crossing my fingers hoping it gets approved..

To my brother, Jay, Congratulations! Cheers!

The Love Personality Test

Take this test!
About 7% of the U.S. population shares the combination of traits that make up this love type.

Being an ISTJ means that you are one cool customer. Although few would describe you as being warm, cuddly, or sentimental, many people likely see you as an important source of support in their lives. That's because when things are chaotic or falling apart, you're the type of person who can be virtually unflappable. ISTJs like you are known for being talented problem solvers. When it comes to your relationships, you usually know how to speak up for yourself so that others know what you want. But that doesn't mean you're rigid or inflexible. In fact, you're quite willing to bend for the right person. They just need to make their case honestly.

For Renovation, Again...

I'm thinking about changing my blog's template, yes, again.. I've been having a hard time arranging my widgets with it. I have to adjust the width of each widget to fit into the space allotted for them on the right side of the page everytime a want to post one but not all widgets allows you to edit their width properties. Plus, some widgets don't look good when their too narrow..I really like this template but I would have to look for a new one since it makes blogging a little hard..So again, pls bear with me.. :)

My Morning Personlity

Take this test!
Sure, you've had your share of lazy Sundays, but for the most part, we'd guess you greet the day with enthusiasm and maybe even a smile. Morning people like you probably have your own internal alarm clocks, and it often makes morning the best part of the day.

Getting to work or appointments on time has probably never been a problem for you. In fact, you're usually at your most productive during the a.m. hours. So, if you've got a big presentation to give or a test to take, your best bet is to schedule it before lunchtime. Go get 'em!

Rice on the Rise

It has been a consistent part of the everyday news on TV, has been occupying newspapers' headlines and has become the number one topic on group conversations. Rice on the rise! Yes, that's right. Every Filipino's favorite part of the meal is becoming more popular because of it's decreasing supply and increasing price in the market.

According to news, the Department of Agriculture, together with other government agencies, have been discussing this issue thoroughly to come up with a resolution. They said they are allocating billions of Pesos for farmers, fertilizers, irrigation, and other agricultural infrastructures and facilities and are trying to find more ways to alleviate the damages that this has done to our country in general.

So why am I writing this?

Because like every ordinary Filipinos, I and my family are being affected. I have to work on my budget again because of the sudden and continuous increase in price, not only of rice, but also of other everyday commodities. Right now, I'm even thinking of resorting to cheaper rice substitution, like camote.. But then again, maybe not.. LOL

I hope the government finds a way to resolve this as soon as possible.. haaayyyy..
